Fantastic in borders, pots and rockeries but also anywhere where full sun will enable the beautiful summer flowers to open.
Sow Feb – May. Flower’s: June – September.
Eschscholzia Californica is relatively hardy and can survive UK temperatures down to -5 unprotected through a mild winter.
Cut back half of the flowers after at the end of the flowering season, leaving the other half to self-seed for the next!

Ensure your chosen site is free of weeds. Rake to a fine tilth and sow by hand evenly by sowing half of the seed lengthways and the other half widthways. Rake again lightly and gently firm the soil. Protect from birds if necessary and water when required but be careful not to over water.
